As a Parts Director at Mills Auto Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our parts department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual who has a deep understanding of automotive parts and a strong track record of leadership. Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize parts department performance and profitability
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and efficient parts ordering, receiving, and storage
- Supervise and train parts department staff, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals
- Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing and terms to optimize departmental performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of parts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and technologies to effectively meet customer needs
- Proven experience as a Parts Director or similar role in the automotive industry
- In-depth knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer systems and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
- Competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $175,000 per year
