**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
+ Operate and maintain awareness of security-related equipment and protocols specific to the location.
+ Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while upholding site policies.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services if required during incidents or emergencies.
+ Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
