Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Type: W2 Contract – 12 months
Location: Monroe, NC
Schedule: M – F, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $22 / hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist who requires minimal work direction and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role provides essential administrative support to a department or individual, ensuring efficiency, organization, and best practice sharing within the workgroup. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support including typing, filing, correspondence management (calls, emails, texts), scheduling, calendaring, and record keeping.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Maintain office supplies, manage requests, and handle mail distribution, sorting, and packaging.
  • Support special projects through data recording, compiling, retrieving, and analyzing information.
  • Partner with team members to identify and implement best practices within the department.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and life-cycle management tools such as Dassault Systems 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA/PLM and SAP.
