A well-established Gastroenterology practice in Winston-Salem is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position involves working in the pre-, intra-, and post-procedural areas to ensure safe and effective care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to endoscopy patients before, during, and after procedures
- Start IVs using aseptic technique (IV experience is a must)
- Administer prescribed medications per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical team to assess and meet patient needs
- Assist in cleaning and preparing rooms between procedures, following Infection Control protocols

What We Offer:

- Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM–4:30 PM)
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
- Supportive, team-oriented environment
- Consistent daytime hours in a specialty surgical setting

Preferred Background:

- Prior experience in hospital settings, OR, PACU, ambulatory surgery centers, pre-op, or endoscopy units
- Skilled in IV placement and medication administration
- Experience in fast-paced, procedure-based environments

Qualifications:

- Active and unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to read and communicate in English effectively; basic math skills required
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid NC driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
