Staff Accountant

This role is with a construction company that collaborates with other entities with a requirement of being in the office 8a-5pm. The new talent must reside in the CLT metro area and be able to be on site. Our client is desiring a problem solver, and eagerness to step in and attack with asigned tasks as needed and assigned.

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

 Daily reconciliation of the bank account.
 Prepares and records journal entries

 Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing process
 Prepares and analyzes reporting and shares with controller and leadership team
 Perform account analysis and other analytical procedures as needed.


 Maintains financials and is able to see discreapancies and may help resolve them

 Although no direct reports, acts as the lead for the team

 Able to step in when needed and help colleagues
Familiar with GAAP
