**What You'll Do**
We're looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will support RIS Finance and be responsible for completing several daily functions including, but not limited to daily balancing, transaction processing, systems reconciliation, wires, ACH's, exception handling and accounting research. All of which require accuracy and attention to detail.
**Types of Things You'll Do**
+ Perform various reconciliation and/or balancing processes, maintaining accuracy and supporting financial integrity.
+ Handle tax-related activities, including researching and processing tax form corrections, and assisting with compliance throughout the year.
+ Process internal funds and ensure proper allocation of the funds.
+ Record and post financial transactions, conduct month-end close activities, and prepare routine journal entries.
+ Analyze and report financial data, including variance analysis and delivering management information reports for decision-making.
+ Support compliance and internal controls, including SOX requirements, data integrity checks, and risk mitigation techniques.

**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
+ 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
+ Skilled in Excel, bank/GL reconciliations, and transaction posting.
+ Experience with tax reporting, Principal Accounting systems, and transactional accounting activities
**Skills That Will Help You Stand Out**
+ CPA or other applicable certifications preferred.
+ Excel experience (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
**Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)**
$22.07 - $28.85 / hour
**Time Off Program**
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
