Public Cloud Project Manager - Remote | WFH

### About the Role
As a Public Cloud Project Manager, you will lead multiple high-profile projects for enterprise clients. You'll work closely with software engineers, senior executives, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully—on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape Statements of Work (SoW), manage complex project lifecycles, and act as a key advocate for open-source technology solutions. You'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring the seamless execution of cloud-based initiatives.

This position is fully remote, but occasional international travel may be required depending on project needs.

### What You'll Do
- Oversee the full lifecycle of public cloud projects, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, budget, and timeline.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a strong customer focus, acting as a trusted partner for key enterprise accounts.
- Assist senior leadership with contract negotiations and the development of project agreements (SoW, RFP/RFI responses).
- Conduct regular status meetings, business reviews, and project updates with clients.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of critical project components.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to support client needs beyond existing contracts.
- Advocate for open-source solutions and cloud technologies, helping clients make informed decisions.

### What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in IT project management within the cloud or open-source technology space.
- Strong background in Linux, open-source software, and cloud computing.
- Software engineering experience or a deep understanding of development lifecycles.
- Ability to lead complex projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to travel internationally when needed.

### Bonus Points for
- PMI, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications.
- Experience managing global, fully remote projects.
- Familiarity with enterprise cloud providers and DevOps methodologies.
