Production Manager
A prominent manufacturing company in the Statesville, NC area is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and driving a high-performance culture across all production lines. This role owns execution of the production schedule and is accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational discipline on the plant floor. The Production Manager sets the pace for the facility by maintaining a visible presence in the plant, holding supervisors accountable, and responding rapidly to operational issues. This is a high priority hire, salaried in the $140K+ bonus salary range. location: Statesville, North Carolina

- Own and enforce a zero-compromise safety culture.
- Own daily production performance across all lines, ensuring targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost are met without exception.
- Set the daily pace and expectations on the plant floor by maintaining a visible, hands-on leadership presence.
- Lead and hold supervisors accountable for shift performance, including OEE, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and schedule adherence.
- Drive a culture of urgency by responding immediately to production issues, removing barriers quickly, and refusing to allow problems to linger.
- Conduct daily production meetings to review prior performance, identify gaps, assign accountability, and align on the day's priorities.
