Description:Journeyman Electrician ? Industrial Project (NC)
An established industrial electrical contractor is hiring Journeyman Electricians for a large‑scale project in the Charlotte/Gastonia, NC area.
Pay & Schedule
- $32.31/hour
- 6x10s once fully mobilized
- Project ramps up mid?late March
- Long‑term project with steady hours
- 5 electricians needed to start , expanding to 10 total
What They're Looking For
- 4?5+ years of industrial electrical experience (no residential)
- Solid understanding of electrical theory and basic NEC
- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
- Experience with:
- Conduit installation (underground & above ground)
- Wire pulling
- Panel terminations
- Own hand tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lead a small crew if needed
- Journeyman or Master Electrician card preferred (cardholders may bypass assessment)
Safety Requirements
- OSHA 10
- Hard hat with chin strap (non‑vented)
- Safety glasses
- Hi‑vis shirt/vest/jacket
- Steel or composite toe boots
- Long work pants (no shorts)
