HVAC Technician (Drug Manufacturing)

salary: $48 - $51 per hour

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains HVAC systems and associated equipment for all facilities located at the DS site. Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on:
- VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow)
- Air Handling Unit’s (AHU’s)
- Walk-in cold rooms
- Reach-in refrigerators and freezers (repairs and efficiency)
- Exhaust fans
- Fume and laminar flow hoods
- Filtration

1. Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
2. Performs corrective work orders in support of Facilities, Laboratory, and Manufacturing operations.
3. Manages contractor and vendor activities and work plans for safety and compliance with company standards.
4. Schedule’s work on systems and equipment in manufacturing and lab areas to prevent interruption to operations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
