Principal Project Controls (Cost) Specialist Location: Charlotte, United States Start Date: 08 April 2026 Pay Rate: $82 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Controls (Cost) Specialist to join our team in Charlotte. As a senior member of the project controls team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all cost-related aspects of our projects. This role requires a strong background in project controls, cost estimation, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders Analyze project financial data and provide insights to project teams Ensure compliance with project cost control procedures and guidelines Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls, cost estimation, or related field Proficiency in cost control software and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
