As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a financial institution. You will conduct routine patrols of the location, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations as needed. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and addressing any suspicious behavior.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
+ Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance or information as needed, and document all incidents or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
+ Remain alert and observant at all times, staying prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies in a financial institution environment.
+ Follow all Allied Universal training and guidelines, as well as site-specific instructions for armed patrol and emergency response.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
