Civil Engineer - Land Development

Webuild () is actively seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to spearhead CAD project design efforts for a range of residential and mixed-use development projects throughout the dynamic North Carolina marketplace.

The ideal candidate boasts a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specializing in the design of land development projects. This experience should encompass a wide array of skills, including site design, underground utility planning (including streets, sewer systems, water supply, and stormwater drainage), and rough/final grading, as well as hydraulic calculations. Proficiency in developing both conceptual and final CAD designs is a must. Moreover, candidates should excel in coordinating with project management teams and interfacing with city agencies and external consultants to secure necessary project approvals.

In the role of Civil Engineer / Design Engineer, you will assume responsibility for overseeing all civil design across a diverse portfolio of land development projects within the North Carolina marketplace. This includes delivering final CAD technical designs to ensure projects are completed efficiently, adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.

Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) in North Carolina is essential. Exceptional proficiency with Civil 3D is expected. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong staff leadership abilities, are key to success in this role.
