Program Manager, Information Systems Professional Services

Position Responsibilities:
Organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates and oversee the successful completion of all assigned IT tasks. Must be familiar with all phases of the SELC and have experience performing tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering, or systems integration projects preferred.
Act as the liaison between the government and Contractor teams.
Prepare documents that guide the performance of all development, functional and technical activities performed.
Perform tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering or systems integration projects preferred.
Provide technical direction for the complete system development effort. May serve as a technical authority for a design or problem area. Use experience with cloud management to guide development and service management.
Anticipate technical problems and work to mitigate them. Identifies and resolves unique systems problems using new technology or the best technological solution.
Ensure that tasks are completed within estimated cost and schedule.
Interact with Contactor/Government management personnel issuing written and/or oral reports.
Ensure the development, maintenance and implementation of Program Management Plans and Technical Specifications Plan, and other applicable documents that guide the performance of all functional and technical activities performed.
Provide management, direction, decision making, administration, quality assurance and leadership for the Enterprise Information Technology Support Services team
Provide oversight of program deliverables to ensure a successful delivery
Provide a summary of all project milestones and their anticipated completion dates, data on cumulative funding and expenditure rates and status
Participate in customer meetings, effectively communicating program status and request clarification on issues when needed
Other duties as required
Occasional travel within CONUS may be required
Requirements:
- Five (5) years of experience providing technical direction and project management.
- Three (3) years supervisory experience in addition to the five (5) years of experience listed above.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field or at minimum IT Certification (ex. Project Management Professional (PMP) Five (5) years' experience is equivalent to two (2) years of education.
- Five (5) years' experience with change management and process improvements.
- Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems. Active Security clearance highly preferred
- Experience managing technology projects in an Agile delivery methodology
- Strong analysis skills, with the ability to identify and improve documentation to support operations and technical teams
- Experience performing internal process audits; monitor/track corrective actions; monitor process implementation; perform process checks on internal procedures; review contract deliverables
- Proven customer service experience or experience as a customer service representative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate ideas
- Familiarity with DoD Cybersecurity documentation and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and processes
- DoD Level II/III certification (Sec+, etc.) desired
- Possession of an ITIL v3 Intermediate Level Certification or ITIL v4 Managing Professional Certification equivalent is desired
