Daycare Teacher Full and Part Time available

We Luv Um is dedicated to providing quality child care, interactive learning and memorable experiences. We are looking for a caring, fun-loving and highly motivated teacher to inspire and be part of a great team. No Experience Needed. We are a religious sponsored center, GS110-106. We are open Monday thru Friday from 6:30am to 5:30 pm so no nights or weekends required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the assigned classroom
- Communicate with families
- Monitor daily to ensure compliance is being maintained with all NC Child Care Requirements
- Make request for supplies and materials to director
- Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate lesson plans in accordance with individual child's ability and interest
- Maintain classroom to DCD standards and as sanitation standards
- Maintain appropriate staff/child ratio and supervision at all times
- Rotate and replenish material and equipment as needed
- Discipline children in accordance with NC Child Care Requirements
- Maintain daily attendance
- Administer and enforce policies in parent handbook
Requirements:
- A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- NC Early Childhood Credentials a plus but not required
- BSAC, SIDS not required but must obtain within 90 days of hire
- CPR and First Aid Certified are a plus must obtain within 90 days of hire
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with staff, parents and children
- Must be able to stand, bend stoop, squat, sit in the floor and lift at least 30 lbs., in order to engage in physical activities with the children
