Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 470637
- Execute the monthly financial close process, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and review of operating results
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls
- Partner with plant leadership to monitor production activity and ensure accurate financial capture of operational data
- Support inventory accounting, including reconciliation of quantities, valuation review, and investigation of variances
- Oversee transactional accounting processes across payables, receivables, and related subledgers
- Assist in cost analysis and margin reporting to support business decision-making
- Prepare and review customer billing documentation in coordination with internal departments
- Contribute to audit support, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives within the accounting function
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working within an ERP-driven environment
