TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Burlington, North Carolina, 27215!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active Nursing License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Description: Registered Nurse needed for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The unit will primarily care for surgical patients with pre-operative and post-operative needs. Experience with telemetry and remote monitoring is necessary. Ratios on the unit are 1:5-6. Charge nurse experience is preferred. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Compliance with a Pass/Fail EKG exam is mandatory for all nurses. This position requires floating to multiple locations as needed for patient care. Daily census averages around 27 patients, with a maximum capacity of 29 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. All candidates must successfully complete a background check prior to employment. Education verification through a third party is required. Nurses must be familiar with the Epic charting system. Candidates should possess skills in accessing and managing ports, IV administration, and tracheostomy care. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage various patient care scenarios. About Cynet Health
