Key Job Details – Med/Surg Tele RN, Fayetteville, NC

• Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301
• Healthcare Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025 – End: 12/8/2025)
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: Call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; all other contracted hours are guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1660 - $1700
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Scrub Color: Royal blue and white

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records (EHR)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Must pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance
• LTAC nursing experience preferred
• Not accepting local candidates within 50 miles of Fayetteville, NC

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to adults in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage cardiac drips, and care for ventilated patients
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage central lines, chest tubes, and wound vacs
• Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document progress in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Float between similar units as needed to support patient care
• Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination
