• Shift: Night Shift (3x12-hour shifts, 18:00 - 06:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025, End: 1/5/2026)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: May float within hospital or to sister campus as needed
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Solid Black or Black and White

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience in acute care or ICU settings
• Certification in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
• Experience with adult and pediatric ICU patients
• Ability to float between similar units as needed
• Proficiency with Epic charting preferred
• Advanced EKG exam required for compliance
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Maximum of 4 days of requested time off (RTO); only 1 holiday allowed during contract
• Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (locals not accepted)

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in ICU and acute care environments
• Conduct respiratory assessments, administer treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other respiratory therapy units within scope as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Comply with hospital policies, including attendance and makeup shifts for callouts
• Complete orientation and all required compliance modules prior to assignment start
