COTA - Travel Contract

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Mount Olive, NC. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for daily living. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active North Carolina COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADL retraining, cognitive-perceptual interventions, and durable medical equipment assessments.
• Familiarity with documentation in electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
• Position may require working scheduled 35 hours per week.
