McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to work in its People Operations department at its headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid role .
How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles
Draft offers and coordinate all pre-employment requirements
Oversee onboarding and orientation alongside L&D
Manage vendor relationships and contract staff onboarding
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Support internship placement and hiring compliance
Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies
Represent McLeod’s mission and values throughout the hiring process
What are the qualifications needed for this role?
2+ years of dedicated recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare or nonprofit settings
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with employment law, onboarding processes, and ATS platforms
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
HR or healthcare recruiting certification a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHCR)
