Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades
We are seeking a motivated and organized Talent Acquisition / Recruiter to support hiring and onboarding efforts for a growing mechanical contracting firm. This role will focus heavily on recruiting skilled professionals while also assisting with HR administrative functions and onboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department managers to identify current and future hiring needs
- Post and manage job advertisements across job boards, social media platforms, and recruiting channels
- Review applications and process employment documentation
- Conduct pre-screening interviews for open positions
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Perform reference checks and assist throughout the hiring process
- Maintain communication with candidates from initial contact through onboarding
- Coordinate and support new hire onboarding activities
- Assist with new hire orientation and position-specific training
- Participate in recruiting outreach efforts including job fairs and networking events
- Support general HR administrative functions as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 1–2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple openings simultaneously
- Experience with job boards, social media recruiting, and applicant tracking systems is a plus
- Construction, skilled trades, or mechanical contracting industry experience is preferred but not required
