ECU Health Physicians, ECU Health Cancer Care, and ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital are seeking a BE/BC Hematology Oncologist to join an established practice located in Tarboro, North Carolina. ECU Health Cancer Care is the largest provider of oncology services in eastern North Carolina.

• Outpatient clinical responsibilities focused on the following
  • Developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients
  • Chemotherapy oversight
  • Supervising nurse practitioner on follow-up patients
  • Leading tumor board
• Cancer center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer and is designated as a Community Cancer Program and includes a healing garden, 8 infusion chairs, 2 private infusion areas, patient image renewal areas, and community outreach spaces
• Affiliation with and support provided by the ECU Health Cancer Center located in nearby Greenville, NC with access to multidisciplinary oncology teams for diagnosing late stage cancers including support from disease-focused medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgical oncologists
• Close collaboration with the ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic which offers a full range of healthcare services which includes primary & preventive care, immediate care, specialty care, Lab, X-ray, Digital radiology and bone densitometry, IAC accredited ECHO lab, and AASM accredited sleep lab
