Divisional Sourcing Director, Financial Services

Job Summary

• The Divisional Director, Client Sourcing leads all Client Sourcing Operations and is responsible for leading the Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) platform within the Financial Services Division at JLL.
• Lead, manage and direct the strategic sourcing plans within the assigned Division by collaborating closely with Divisional Presidents, Managing Directors, Accounts and Clients to set overall priorities and account goals.
• Closely collaborate with Americas Sourcing Solutions Development, Category Management, and relevant business stakeholders to retain, grow, and win new clients.
• Lead and grow a high‑performing S&P team, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of world‑class sourcing and procurement professionals.
• Drive communication, both verbal and written, with all levels at JLL in addition to clients to support the organization, influence change, and win new business.

Essential Job Functions

Develops and Leads High Performing Teams

• Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top sourcing talent.
• Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
• Create high‑performing, integrated sourcing teams committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
• Manage and coach Group Sourcing Leads, Team Leads, and Large Account Leaders on performance progress and developmental goals.
• Actively support supply/demand within the sourcing platform by networking, mentoring, and sharing diverse internal and external candidates.
• Develop succession plans for all key roles within the organization.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.

Execute with Excellence

• Develop Divisional sourcing strategies incorporating inputs from leadership, market intelligence, and client strategies.
• Ensure vision and strategy of the client sourcing plans are implemented and aligned with objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships within Americas’ leadership across all business lines.
• Proactively manage suppliers to ensure overall performance expectations are met.
• Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business, including best practices and innovation.
• Effectively develop and lead complex short‑term and longer‑term sourcing strategies, managing suppliers and internal networks to deliver best‑in‑class performance.

Grows the Business

• Manage interaction with sourcing teams across various groups to support the sales process.
• Serve as SME on renewals, expansions, and new business through partnership with Managing/Account Directors, Solutions Development, and Business Development.
• Proactively prepare for all client renewals, striving for a no‑bid renewal.
• Participate in client meetings and yellow pad sessions as needed.

Achieves Financial/Compliance Results

• Identify risks and opportunities for clients and stakeholders, recommending strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
• Continually manage and assess suppliers through the supplier performance management program.
• Own sourcing compliance and controls across the verticals, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results‑based methods for savings, supplier performance, and sourcing effectiveness.
• Comply with all JLL and client policies and procedures, including ethics and business practice.

Required Experience

• Direct financial services industry experience.
• Senior leadership experience leading large, dynamic, remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four‑year college or university; MBA preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience working with sourcing and procurement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven track record leading successful teams of leaders.
• Experience working in a matrix client organization.
• Experience with client presentations.
• Experience in the sales process within a large organization.

Estimated Compensation

175,000.00 – 190,000.00 USD per year
