Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance operations and ensure our community is in great shape. You will manage a team, handle repairs, keep track of budgets, and follow safety standards.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the maintenance team – Supervise and support a skilled crew across one or more communities.
- Coordinate daily operations – Schedule tasks, ensure homes are ready to rent, oversee after-hours assignments, and complete service orders on time.
- Stay on budget – Develop and follow maintenance budgets while monitoring spending.
- Inspect and maintain the community – Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, conduct property inspections, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Foster strong relationships – Work with residents, team members, and vendors to create a well-maintained, welcoming environment.
- Ensure compliance and safety – Follow policies and company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Tackle special projects – Assist with additional responsibilities and property improvements as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Strong leadership skills – Experience in managing, training, and motivating a maintenance team.
- Technical expertise – Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Problem-solving abilities – Able to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations confidently.
- Dependability and flexibility – Available for emergency repairs when needed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks – Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy objects, distinguish colors, and work in various conditions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in facility maintenance
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely

Supervisor(a) de Mantenimiento

Como Supervisor(a) de Mantenimiento, supervisarás las operaciones de mantenimiento y asegurarás que nuestra comunidad esté en excelentes condiciones. Gestionarás un equipo, realizarás reparaciones, controlarás presupuestos y seguirás estándares de seguridad.
Lo que harás:
- Liderar al equipo de mantenimiento – Supervisar y apoyar a un equipo calificado en una o más comunidades.
- Coordinar las operaciones diarias – Programar tareas, asegurar que las viviendas estén listas para alquilar, supervisar asignaciones fuera de horario y completar órdenes de servicio a tiempo.
- Mantenerse dentro del presupuesto – Desarrollar y seguir presupuestos de mantenimiento mientras se monitorean los gastos.
- Inspeccionar y mantener la comunidad – Supervisar los programas de mantenimiento preventivo, realizar inspecciones de la propiedad y asegurar que todo funcione correctamente.
- Fomentar relaciones sólidas – Trabajar con residentes, miembros del equipo y proveedores para crear un entorno bien mantenido y acogedor.
- Garantizar el cumplimiento y la seguridad – Seguir políticas y directrices de la empresa, así como normativas locales, estatales y federales.
- Abordar proyectos especiales – Ayudar con responsabilidades adicionales y mejoras en la propiedad según sea necesario.
Lo que aportas al equipo:
- Fuertes habilidades de liderazgo – Experiencia en la gestión, capacitación y motivación de un equipo de mantenimiento.
- Conocimientos técnicos – Conocimiento en electricidad, plomería, pintura, albañilería, carpintería y sistemas HVAC.
- Habilidades para resolver problemas – Capacidad para manejar emergencias y situaciones de alta presión con confianza.
- Responsabilidad y flexibilidad – Disponibilidad para reparaciones de emergencia cuando sea necesario.
- Capacidad para realizar tareas físicas – Capacidad para subir hasta 40 pies, levantar objetos pesados, distinguir colores y trabajar en diversas condiciones.
Requisitos:
- Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente
- Dos años de experiencia en mantenimiento de instalaciones
- Habilidad para usar herramientas manuales y eléctricas de forma segura
