This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the health and safety of our community during the night hours.

As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine, you will be at the forefront of patient care, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in a dynamic setting. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality medical services. This role is essential in supporting our staffing needs and maintaining the continuity of care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a timely manner
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
• Administer appropriate treatment and medications
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records
• Respond to emergencies and critical situations effectively
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
• Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
• Prior experience in emergency medicine preferred
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Flexibility to work night shifts as required

Schedule: 7p-7a, specific dates

Annual Volume: 32,000 patients

Support Staff: PAs

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
