Position: Second Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Mt. Mitchell Foods, South End, Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Second Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our evening production operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our production lines operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage second shift production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

• Supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to achieve performance goals.

• Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and address operational challenges.

• Maintain accurate records of production output, employee performance, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food production or manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Flexibility to work the designated second shift schedule.
