• Location: Burlington, Massachusetts 01803 (Greater Boston area healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Surgical Technologist Contract
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Operating Room (Allied Health Unit)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,180
• Shift: Evening Shift 12x, 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) per month
• Call: Scheduled monthly (Short Call, Overnight, Weekend)
• Note: Local candidates are not eligible for this travel Surgical Technologist job.

Surgical Technologist Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Surgical Technologist license (required at time of application)
• National Surgical Tech Certification (CST or equivalent)
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital operating room
• Primary experience in Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Transplant, and Cardiac surgical procedures strongly preferred
• 2025-2026 flu vaccine required at time of submission (no declinations; attestation to receive prior to start accepted)
• Cannot have worked perm, travel, or PRN for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months

Surgical Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the operating room team during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
• Prepare operating rooms with required surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in Ortho, Neuro, Transplant, and Cardiac procedures
• Support patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols at all times
• Participate in scheduled call rotations, including short call, overnight, and weekend coverage
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
