Peoplelink Staffing is searching for 2 Team Members to join our client in Liberty NC.
1st shift
Pay: $19/hr

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to wear Respirator Gear
• Must have Forklift Operating experience
• Must have Pallet Jack Operating experience
• Must have Machine Operating experience.

SUMMARYThe Team Member will be the core of our client’s operations, performing the basic function of daily operations. Individuals in this role will work closely with the Group/Team Leader(s) and be able to perform multiple tasks within our operations to help facilitate our goals in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Including wearing respirator gear.
Materials Receiving: Unload, weigh, and confirm inbound materials, documenting and notifying Group/Team leaders of any discrepancies.
Materials/Container Handling: Following operational standards, processes, procedures and/or plans, facilitate the flow of materials and/or containers throughout the process.
Materials Shipping: Following instructions, stage, verify and load outbound materials.
Weights and Records: Following operational instructions, weigh, record and label materials and/or containers throughout the processes.
Labeling: Follow operational standards on the labeling of materials/containers.
Documentation: Maintain all documentation and records keeping required in operations.
Cleaning: Maintain a clean and neat work area according to 5S standards.
Participation: Participate in team meetings and training.
Other Duties: Assist in other areas and duties as assigned
.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of related experience and/or training preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read, write legibly, and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions with customers, clients, and coworkers.
  
  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

• Apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

EQUIPMENT SKILLS

• REQUIRED to Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment used for material handling and movement.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit during work shifts.
• Frequently use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and reach with arms.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and smell.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
• Use judgment to request assistance when lifting heavy items.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work near moving mechanical parts and in areas without climate control for extended periods.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment such as protective clothing, gloves, hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, and possibly respirators depending on exposure risk.
• Noise level is typically moderate.

NOTE: This position could be a problem for someone with an acute allergy condition.
