1st Shift Metal Grinder
Position: General Labor – Buffer Operator (Temporary)
Location: Shelby, NC
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Pay: $14/hour
Duration: 1–2 months
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable individual for a temporary General Labor role focused on buffing and restoring metal parts. This position will involve working with rusted materials and using handheld buffers to clean and prepare parts for further processing.
Responsibilities:
Operate handheld buffers to remove rust and restore metal parts
Inspect parts to ensure quality and proper finish
Follow safety procedures while handling materials and equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support general labor tasks as needed
Requirements:
Ability to work 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work
Ability to lift and handle materials as needed
Strong attention to detail and safety
Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the assignment
