Our client is a global solar technology provider known for delivering precision-engineered Balance of System Solutions to support utility-scale and commercial solar installations.

The Director of Engineering will lead the a team of Design Engineers responsible for reviewing and revising project design requirements, creating a bill of materials, estimates and quotations for projects. This is a great role for a technically adept leader who can bring clarity, structure, and communication to a global design review process.

• Lead and manage a cross-regional design engineering team
• Oversee the design review process, ensuring technical integrity and alignment with project requirements
• Drive process standardization, oversight, and quality across all geographic regions
• Act as a subject matter expert on solar wiring systems, compliance, and design best practices
• Provide mentorship and training to the U.S. design team, fostering professional growth and operational efficiency
• Communicate design standards and roadmap updates to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Continuously refine and document processes to support scaling operations and cross-department alignment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 7+ years of Solar experience including 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Excellent communication, project planning, and stakeholder engagement skills
• AutoCAD proficiency and ability to travel up to 30%
• NABCEP certification and multilingual capabilities are a plus

Salary Range: $160,000-$170,000
