Geotechnical Field Technician

GTA is currently seeking candidates for our Geotechnical Field (Materials Testing) Technician position. Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for recent civil engineering or environmental science graduates. We provide ample opportunities for training, certifications and career advancement. You must own a reliable vehicle, have a good driving record, like working with people and enjoy working outdoors. Prior experience and certifications preferred! NCDOT Special Inspection certifications a plus

Requirements:

• Own Transportation, valid drivers license and Good Driving Record
• Enjoy Working Outdoors
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• NDOT, NICET, WACEL, ACI and/or other certifications desired

PLEASE NOTE: This position may require standing for extended durations as well as repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering.
