Imagine starting your day reviewing a couple of work orders, lining up your tools, and diving into a diagnostic on an electric lift truck. By mid-morning, you’ve completed a PM service and a cosmetic touch-up on a reach truck. After lunch, you troubleshoot a diesel unit with a fuel delivery issue and then help tidy and organize the shop. That’s a typical Monday–Friday at The Forklift Pro—steady, hands-on work with the occasional overtime when business demands.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose and repair LP, diesel, and electric-powered lift trucks and related industrial equipment across multiple brands
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to keep fleets running reliably
• Complete cosmetic repairs and touch-ups to extend equipment life and appearance
• Help with shop organization, cleanliness, and inventory tidiness
• Tackle additional tasks as assigned by the Service Manager

What you bring

• Hands-on experience (or strong familiarity) repairing LP, diesel, and electric vehicles or equipment
• Working knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Your own professional tool set and steel-toe safety footwear
• Ability to read and understand work orders, plus clear written and verbal communication
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and lookups
• Experience operating lift trucks and other industrial equipment
• Preferred: confidence reading wiring schematics
• Sound basic-to-intermediate problem-solving and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision
• A valid driver’s license

• Sit-down forklifts (Hyster, Toyota, Raymond, Crown, Yale)
• Reach trucks (Hyster, Toyota, Raymond, Crown)
• Stand-up counterbalance/Pacer (Crown)
• Pallet jacks (Hyster, Toyota, Crown, Yale)
• General forklifts (Hyster, Raymond, Crown, Yale)

Schedule and environment

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
