Project Manager III

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Project Manager III. This role will manage one primary application, its Jira environment, and a high volume of enhancement requests and backlog items. Summary: Work generally consists of smaller projects with faster turnaround times rather than large, multi-year programs. The Project Manager may manage approximately five active projects simultaneously while also helping organize and prioritize a backlog of roughly 100 requests. The team typically receives two to three new requests each week. The Project Manager will participate in intake discussions, help onboard and define new requests, coordinate with Business Analysts, establish priorities, track delivery, and ensure that follow-up items are completed.

• Project management experience within an SDLC or application-delivery environment
• Strong hands-on experience using Jira
• Experience managing project backlogs, priorities, tickets, and delivery activities
• Ability to manage approximately five concurrent projects
• Strong meeting facilitation, note-taking, and follow-up skills
• Experience creating and presenting project-status presentations
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work onsite four days per week in Charlotte
• Comfort working with frequent deployments and changing priorities

• Experience using JQL
• Experience creating Jira dashboards
• Salesforce platform or comparable case-management platform experience
• Experience supporting customer-service, case-management, or ticket-escalation applications
• Basic SQL knowledge for reporting or data validation
• Experience working in a lean team with frequent software deployments
• Experience managing application-enhancement or configuration projects
• SQL knowledge is helpful but is not required; The departing Project Manager occasionally used SQL to pull reports, which added value to the team
