We specialize in the highest-quality residential & commercial landscape lighting and irrigation system management services.

Due to rapid growth, we are looking for dedicated team members who want to expand their experience and grow their careers with our exceptional team and have an immediate opening for a full-time Irrigation and Lighting Technician. Must have capabilities of working with the team to complete the assigned tasks in a safe, professional manner through safety training and best practices in operations within the time allocated by your supervisor.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of lighting and irrigation systems for a variety of landscapes and settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, irrigation technology, and a keen eye for detail to ensure efficient and effective operation. The Lighting and Irrigation Technician will collaborate with landscaping teams and clients to enhance outdoor spaces through reliable and visually appealing lighting and irrigation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain landscape lighting systems for residential, commercial, and public spaces.
· Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers, while ensuring proper water distribution and conservation practices.
· Conduct thorough site assessments to determine optimal placement of irrigation components, considering factors such as terrain, plant types, and client preferences.
· Perform regular inspections and maintenance of existing systems to identify and address issues promptly, such as broken lines, leaks, or faulty wiring.
· Calibrate irrigation controllers and timers to optimize watering schedules based on weather conditions and plant requirements.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems related to electrical components, wiring, timers, valves, and pumps, and implement effective solutions.
· Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in lighting and irrigation systems.
· Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the installed systems.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical systems, irrigation technology, or a related field is preferred.
· Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing lighting and irrigation systems.
· Strong understanding of electrical principles, wiring, and low-voltage systems.
· Knowledge of irrigation components, water pressure regulation, and water conservation practices.
· Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to lighting and irrigation work.
· Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
· Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
