Production Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate is responsible for managing daily operations of the technology platform, including incident management and application monitoring.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Production Support Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Managing daily operations of the technology platform.

• Handling problem and incident management.

• Overseeing release and deployment processes.

• Ensuring operational readiness and capacity management.

• Monitoring applications and analyzing service performance.

• Identifying and resolving production failures.

• Communicating effectively with development and business teams.

• Maintaining and enhancing technical policies and procedures.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

• Supporting new and existing equipment and software installations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years in Production Support or a related technical environment.

• Proficiency in Linux and SQL.

• Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
