Crate Builder / Driver
Job Title: Crate Builder / Driver
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $18-$21/hour, based on experience
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Driver / Crate Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate has basic construction experience, is comfortable using light power tools, and enjoys working with their hands to create custom crates for shipping and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble wooden crates and pallets according to specifications
- Use hand tools and light power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns
- Inspect finished crates for quality and durability
- Deliver and pick up valuable freight
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Assist with loading and securing products into crates as needed
Requirements:
- Minimal construction or carpentry experience preferred
- Clean MVR
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic instructions
- Physically able to stand, lift, bend, and work with wood materials throughout the shift
- Dependable with good attention to detail
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or Saturdays when needed
