Human Resources Assistant
Position: HR Assistant
Location: 3301 N Main St, Tarboro, NC 27886 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (1-hour lunch) On-site Requirement: 100% onsite, high visibility on the plant floor Anticipated Duration: Temp-to-hire possibilityPay Rate: $21–$22 per hour Role Overview: This is the sole HR role onsite and requires someone who is:
Strong customer service—this is core to the role.
Able to act as a strategic partner to managers and workers.
Comfortable saying “no” when necessary.
Confident pushing managers to perform their responsibilities.
Able to manage multiple competing priorities without becoming overwhelmed, and the ability to prioritize appropriately Work Environment: Unionized plant
Some union exposure preferred but not required.
Another team member has strong union experience and can support if this person doesn’t have union experience.
Manufacturing / HVAC environment – industry experience is helpful.
