Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) specializing in school-based services within a K-12 educational setting. This position is located in Raeford, NC, and covers the entire school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement individualized therapy plans for students
• Provide direct occupational therapy assistance to students with diverse needs across K-12 grades
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary in cooperation with therapists and educators
• Participate in team meetings, IEP (Individualized Education Program) development, and provide support during evaluations
• Ensure pliance with school policies, state regulations, and best practices for school-based occupational therapy

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in or knowledge of school-based occupational therapy services, particularly within K-12 environments
• Strong munication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, educators, and healthcare professionals
