CDL Truck Driver Dump Truck & Heavy Equipment Hauling
Company: Rock Creek Grading, LLCLocation: Western North Carolina (local work, home most nights) Position Overview: Rock Creek Grading is seeking an experienced CDL Truck Driver to operate dump trucks and transport heavy equipment as needed. This position requires a dependable, safety-focused individual with prior experience hauling heavy machinery. CDL License Required. Serious applicants with experience only.
Responsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks for grading and construction projects
- Haul heavy equipment to and from job sites as needed. (AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
- Properly load, secure, and transport machinery in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain clean and safe equipment
- Assist with basic maintenance and job site support as needed
- Valid CDL License
- Clean driving record
- Prior experience hauling heavy equipment required (references must be provided)
- Ability to properly chain, strap, and secure loads
- Strong knowledge of DOT load securement regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions
- Initial drug test required before employment
- Subject to random drug testing
