ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 2020 and has grown into a close-knit, family-oriented team of two. Before opening the agency, I spent two years as an aspirant team member and five years in corporate marketing, which gave me valuable experience in both business strategy and customer connection.

I live in Tobaccoville with my husband, who works at RJ Reynolds, and our two young boys, Carson and Jax. We have a home full of life (from kids to chickens), and I bring that same energy and warmth into the office every day. I grew up on a farm in Burlington, spent years showing horses, and have always loved the outdoors and animals, which helps keep me grounded and connected to the community I serve.

We love giving back to the community and look for ways to stay involved throughout the year. Our office culture is family-first, supportive, and full of personality. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Rachel Abbott - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
