Senior Healthcare Project Manager Opening!
Job Summary:
In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of healthcare development and fit-up projects from early planning through close-out, with a focus on medical office buildings and hospital projects—including occupied hospital renovations as well as ground-up/new
construction. The role requires balancing competing priorities across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality while coordinating owners/developers, healthcare clients and operators, hospital facilities and clinical leadership, design teams (including specialty clinical planning), authorities having jurisdiction, construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC) teams, and vendors.
General Responsibility:
- Apply your project management skills and expertise to handle bigger, more comprehensive projects; identify and resolve company-wide issues; increase your independence; and build
client relationships that extend beyond a single project.
- Collaborate with project managers and executives to create more efficient methods and maintain proitability
- Coordinate Medical Office Building and Hospital user groups (clinical leadership, facilities, IT, biomed, and operations) to confirm program requirements, equipment needs, and operational workflows
- Assist management in preparation of estimates for development projects and fit-up work
- Develop, prepare, and issue preconstruction project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Identify and coordinate healthcare-specific code and compliance needs during design
- Produce and update the formal project construction schedule as required for bidding and Ownership
- Plan and manage construction in occupied hospital environments and active MOB campuses by coordinating phasing, after-hours work, shutdowns, above-ceiling access, and infection prevention/safety controls to minimize operational disruption
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field with a strong emphasis on Construction or Design
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing planning, design and construction of healthcare real estate projects
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across phases by prioritzing scope, schedule and stakeholder needs
- Preferred Certifications: CHC, CHFM, PE, FACHE
