Construction Dispatch
- Dispatch Operations: Assist with dispatching trucks to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Customer Service: Answer incoming customer, driver, and plant manager calls. Address customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to expand our customer base.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule orders for aggregates, cement, containers, and dumpsters while ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
- Tracking Deliveries: Monitor truck status to ensure deliveries are made on time and provide updates to customers as needed.
- Route Planning: Plan delivery routes, adjusting to accommodate changes.
- Safety Oversight: Ensure drivers follow all safety protocols and guidelines during transportation.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain dispatch documents, invoices, and bills, ensuring accurate information.
- Inventory Systems: To ensure smooth operations, learn and manage inventory through different computer programs (Integra, AMCS, Apex, etc.).
- Communication: Coordinate with customers regarding material details, delivery/pickup schedules, and special instructions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure the team’s success and customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in Spanish and English is required. Conversational.
- Previous dispatch experience is a plus
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle high-volume calls.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals.
- Willingness to learn new systems, including inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when scheduling and handling orders.
