Beau Monde is a full-service event hospitality group. We host events (across 3 venues in the Charlotte area) such as; weddings, corporate get togethers, birthday parties, baby showers, and more. We provide an exceptional level of service, team atmosphere, and transparent communication that is unparalleled. Our clients and their guests' needs are preempted and met with a smile.

We are looking to hire part time Event Servers who are responsible, appreciative, warm, kind, helpful, and hardworking. We hope to hear from people who have 1 or more years of catering service experience who are looking for part time work (8-20 hours a week).

Pay

• $19-$21/hour

Shift Logistics

• Shifts typically run between 8-12 hours
• We have three venues (listed below). There are many opportunities to work at each of our venues. We are also happy to hear your preferences for working at the venue closest to your home.

1. The Ruth (2122 Thrift Road Unit C, Charlotte NC 28208)
2. The Collector's Room (2122 Freedom Drive, Charlotte NC 28208)
3. The Casey (1837 North Tryon Street, Charlotte NC 28206)

• Events/shifts primarily fall on Thursday-Saturday evenings/nights
• Events occasionally fall on Sunday-Wednesday, but not very often

Responsibilities

As a server, you will be responsible for: (including but not limited to):

• Assisting in the set up, execution, and break down of food service related needs
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
• Anticipating guests' needs
• Working well in a team and consistently communicating with Event Managers
• Maintaining a high level of composure in a fast paced environment
• Adapting in the moment and flexing where needed
• Can comfortably lift items up to 50 pounds
• Being optimistic and having a good attitude!

Qualifications

• Previous event catering and/or catering experience (1+ years)
• If no catering experience, 2+ years in restaurant service experience in a fast paced environment
