eDiscovery Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a eDiscovery Specialist for a contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid) . You will support the eDiscovery Operations Legal Team by managing data identification, collection, and transfer for litigation and regulatory matters.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $29/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

eDiscovery Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Work closely with other eDiscovery team members to ensure prompt and accurate execution of requests to identify, collect, and transfer data requested in litigation and regulatory matters.

• Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate execution of data identification, collection, and transfer for litigation and regulatory matters.

• Managing a portfolio of cases, ensuring timely completion of data collections through delivery.

• Conducting complex custodial research to identify and collect required data sources.

• Performing data collection tasks for critical enterprise data sources like Microsoft 365 Exchange and SharePoint.

• Inputting queries and performing quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of collected data.

• Completing internal collections through the barcoding process for data preservation.

• Troubleshooting collection failures and stalled collections.

• Ensuring data transfers are completed and prepared for delivery with quality checks.

• Meeting daily/weekly productivity targets and supporting data delivery functions as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in an electronic discovery or IT-related field.

• Prior experience with Microsoft 365 suite of tools, including Microsoft Purview.

• Knowledge of Cyber Forensics tools/processes or experience with data acquisitions.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
