Shipping and Receiving Associate
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours in the Monroe area recruit a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity working on 1st shift (6am-3pm) Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods, manage product waste disposal, ship orders, and monitor stocked items within the warehouse.
- Manage the full order fulfillment process (parts, raw goods, finished goods), including picking, packing, and shipping to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and control, including proper stock rotation within the distribution facility.
- Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with 5’S Housekeeping Standards and all safety policies.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Build effective working relationships across departments to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Must be computer savvy, ERP experience also a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
