Physician Assistant - Family & Urgent Care

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our patient-focused clinical team in Monroe, NC. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient and urgent care environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will manage a wide range of acute and chronic patient needs while collaborating closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient education to a diverse patient population in Monroe, NC.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages under physician supervision
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging (X-ray, CT, etc.)
• Prescribe medications and therapies within state scope of practice and regulations
• Collaborate with MDs, NPs, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and workflow
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and chronic condition management
• Provide high-quality patient care in both urgent and routine outpatient scenarios

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina Physician Assistant license (or eligibility)
• Current NCCPA board certification (PA-C)
• Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and patient communication abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a professional bedside manner
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
