What You'll Do
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and prepare quotes.
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Submit new project awards with required documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain detailed sales activity records and provide regular reports.
What You'll Need
- Proven sales experience, ideally in construction or building materials.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn CP&P products and applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to read construction plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare estimates.
Your Education
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience (construction or manufacturing industry preferred).
