We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our fast‑paced, client‑focused legal team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in North Carolina workers' compensation matters, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high‑volume caseload with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Case management - Maintain and organize files, track deadlines, and manage case calendars.

• Client communication - Serve as primary point of contact for clients, medical providers, and adjusters.

• Document preparation - Draft forms, medical record summaries, correspondence, and filings with the NCIC.

• Medical records handling - Request, review, and summarize medical records and wage information.

• Attorney support - Assist attorneys with hearing preparation, discovery, and settlement packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of workers' compensation experience (NC preferred).

• Strong knowledge of NC Industrial Commission procedures .

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a high‑volume environment.

• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office.
