Summer Intern - Preconstruction

Our primary markets include industrial, distribution, office, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and senior living construction. Program Overview
The Preconstruction Summer Internship Program at Landmark Builders is designed to provide college students with hands-on experience in the Preconstruction process in commercial construction. This internship is the first step toward a rewarding career as a Preconstruction Manager. Interns will rotate among the business development, estimating, and preconstruction management departments and spend a brief period with our Operations team. You will learn alongside experienced Preconstruction Managers, Directors of Business Development, Estimators, and Market Leaders, gaining practical knowledge, technical expertise, and confidence while contributing to real project work.
Many of our former interns have launched their careers at Landmark, using the skills and relationships developed through this program. Key Responsibilities
As a Summer Intern, you will support the preconstruction teams and gain exposure to the full preconstruction lifecycle, including:
- Assisting with estimating activities to gain knowledge on quantity takeoffs and subcontractor engagement, to lead to pricing for budgets and estimates.
- Helping prepare and implement the scope of work outlines.
- Supporting business development strategies.
- Assisting in preparing proposals.
By the end of the internship, you will have gained:
